My friend downstairs quit her job several months ago, because it caused her so much stress she would get hives. Plus, as a single gal, she still lives with her parents, so she doesn’t have a lot of expenses anyway.
We have been studying English / Turkish with each other three days/week. It is super-convenient, because she is right downstairs, and I get to learn about Turkish culture during the English part of the lesson.
We were discussing infidelity in both the US and Turkey. She looked straight into my eyes and said, “Alyssa, most Muslim men think that it’s only okay for them to sleep with their husbands.”
She meant wives.
We were both rolling out of our chairs, because we were laughing so hard. I’m sure this has happened to me once or twice…
