Future flower girls

We attended the marriage ceremony of a friend two weekends ago. One of the nurses went to a wedding reception last week, so we started talking about wedding traditions. We tried to explain the concept of flower girls. Fatma really liked the idea, so she wants to start a new tradition here in Turkey. She wants Natalie and Sophie to be her flower girls. I asked when she’ll be getting married. “Oh, five years from now at the earliest,” she replied. Hmmm, that might not work out so well after all.
