Turkish Delights: 6 months old (2 months ago!)

The official stats:
Natalie – 13 lbs, 12 oz and 26 inches long
Sophia – 12 lbs, 14 oz and 26 inches long

Sophia loves to look around wherever she is, lying on the floor, sitting in my lap, sitting in her Bumbo. She is our active baby. Her arms and legs are always moving. She loves tummy time. Sophia would have been sleeping through the night by this time, but because Natalie woke up once or twice, we would wake Sophia up too, even though she was sound asleep.

Natalie is our laid-back baby. When she is on the play mat with Sophia, she’ll just lay there and talk to herself. Natalie loves to hear herself talk! She also loves to eat (nursing and by bottle)! Unfortunately, she spits up a lot too. She is a great napper. She usually falls asleep immediately after being put in her crib and naps well for 1 ½ - 2 hours.

Both of them love to suck. Interestingly, neither one would take a pacifier after their third month, so we stopped giving it to them. They constantly have their hands, fingers, and wrist (in Natalie’s case) in their mouths.

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the sixth month. They spent their time on their backs, on their tummies, sitting in their Bumbo seats, and cheering on the Cyclones (or at least wearing Cyclone apparel).
